Setting up the OpenAI API

To work with OpenAI, your main IP address must not be from the Republic of Belarus or the Russian Federation. Usage is only allowed on VPSs in other regions, preferably the EU or USA.

1) On the OpenAI website, at this link -https://platform.openai.com/settings/organization/billing/payment-methods you must link a Visa/Mastercard card and top up your balance with at least a few dollars. If you're from Russia or Belarus, contact the administrator via the ticket system for help topping up your balance.

2) Next, you need to create an API key at this link - https://platform.openai.com/settings/organization/api-keys
Configure the settings as shown in the screenshot
Make sure you've granted all permissions to the API key, save it somewhere safe and enter the key in the software under "Settings" -> "AI Chat Bot Settings"
