Boosting isn't working. What should I do?
When something doesn't work
Don't panic! Don't try to suddenly crank up the number of threads (1000+) or open 20 windows — that usually doesn't help.
Reboot your router— no joke.Sometimes it actually helps. A multithreaded application creates a huge number of active connections, and a home router or your ISP's equipment may not be able to handle the load. Your ISP may limit the number of connections, and the router may simply lag.
Personal experience: routers from Keenetic Speedster and Keenetic Ultra work reliably. Devices like Xiaomi in the mid/budget range often can't handle it (sorry for being blunt). TP-LINK / Mercury in the mid range handle the load better.
P.S. I didn't single out the router by accident — one client's router literally died under the load.
Check your proxies.
On Windows 10/11 you can test purchased proxies from the command line (CMD) using
curl.Example (proxy with login/password):
curl -i -x http://login:password@ip:port https://api.ipify.orgOr (proxy without authentication):
curl -i -x http://ip:port https://api.ipify.orgIf the response shows the proxy address (or your external IP matches the proxy), the proxy works.
Otherwise, the proxy doesn't work or the format/binding is wrong.
3. Private proxies! Some users make the mistake of buying private proxies, hoping that 20 proxies will guarantee 20 viewers. But they don't take into account factors such as a shadow ban on a proxy IP that was previously caught spamming, or low network bandwidth. That's why we recommend using a large proxy pool. This way you spread the load and have a good chance that out of a pool of 1000 proxies, 100-200 will be clean.
4. The number of threads you set. Setting 10 threads doesn't mean you'll get 10 viewers. A software thread is an isolated task that works with the global proxy list and emulates viewing. So 1 thread, depending on the size of your proxy list, can generate several viewers or none at all.
If you think everything is set up correctly, contact support.
It's best to have AnyDesk ready in advance for remote access — network/system issues are hard to diagnose from a description alone.
